October Blog Update

blog update

Hey guys! Here’s a little update on some new things that will be featured on this blog in October.

In addition to some more fall-themed posts, I’ll be doing two weeks full of Halloween things! Everyone’s second-favorite holiday (Christmas is first, obviously) is a time for creativity, so I’ll be featuring some DIY costumes for you that I’ve personally worn in the past. I’ll also be sharing some of the worst/funniest costumes I’ve found, some Halloween tees and quick and easy last-minute ideas for your procrastinators. So look for those posts coming up in the next few weeks.

In addition to the Halloween mini-series, I’m going to start to do some more series on this blog. You may have already been reading my “WTF Wednesday” posts which I do once or twice a month, and I hope to continue to share with you some of the oddest things I’ve seen and heard with you. I’m also going to start up my “Currently Loving” series which I did the first few months of blogging. This is where I share some things I’m currently loving. Sounds simple enough, right?

I’m also introducing a few new series in the upcoming weeks. These include “5 Questions With…”, where I ask anyone and everyone 5 questions. This includes fellow bloggers, singers, friends, anyone! It’s interesting to meet new people and learn about their lives, so I thought it would be fun to share with you. Another series I’ll be blogging about is “Girl Crush”, where I’ll share with you the female celebrity that I currently have a crush on. Lastly, I’m going to be doing some “Throwback Thursday” posts, where I highlight something from my past. I went to so many cool places, met so many funny people and went through a lot of experiences in the 20-something years before I started this blog. Prepare for some old photos, embarrassing stories, celebrity encounters and life lessons from toddler, teenage and college-years Rachel.

I’ll also be doing some more outfit posts, since those seemed to get a lot of comments and readers seemed to enjoy seeing my choice of clothing. Is there anything else you’d like to see more (or less) of on here? Let me know in the comments.

  1. Can’t wait for the Halloween posts! My b-day is exactly one week after Halloween so I always like Halloween because it reminds me that my b-day is soon 🙂
