Leather Skirts

One of fall’s hottest trends is the leather skirt. Well technically most of those you see in stores are faux leather, but who knows the difference?! Investing in a good leather skirt is well worth it- they are a wardrobe staple that can be paired with just about any top, and they hopefully won’t be going out of style anytime soon.

For a ladylike look, try a pleated or A-line version with a pretty blouse. For a more rocker look, pair the skirt with zip-up booties and a metallic tee. If you think you can’t wear this style- think again! Women of any age and body type can make the leather skirt look wearable, you just need to get the cut and color that’s right for you. A-line silhouettes look great on curvier girls, mini skirts are great for short girls who want to elongate their legs, and the pleated skirts add curves for thinner figures. Feeling bold? Try a colored skirt- neutrals such as browns and grays are a flattering alternative to black.

Do you wear a leather skirt? What are your tricks for making them wearable?
