The Best Products for Chapped Lips
Even the most beautiful of models and the most famous of celebrities share something in common with us commoners- chapped lips. Once winter rolls around, it’s inevitable that it will happen to you at least once or twice. Between the cool wind outside and the harsh and dry heat indoors, this season is bad news for your pouty puckers. I’ve tried pretty much ever chapstick, medicated ointment and handmade concoction out there to fight off chapped lips, and I’ve narrowed it down to a few products that work consistently.
For everyday use, I love Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm (some even deposit a hint of color!) For really bad chapped lips, I stick towards medicated ointments, like Blistex Lip Medex and my personal favorite, Aquaphor Healing Ointment. If you’re willing to splurge somewhere other than the drugstore, try the Josie Maran Argan Lip Treatment or Clinique Superbalm Lip Treatment which deliver great results at a higher price.

What is your go-to product for chapped lips?
sugar is my fave!
I need to try that baby lips stuff – carmex is my go to 🙂
So many different flavors/shades- you should try it! Cheap, too
I am definitely an Aquaphor girl but Burt’s Bee’s Pomegranate is a close second, great picks!
Thanks! All hail to Aquafor!
I am a huge fan of Rosebud salve and Palmer’s coco butter for chapped lips. However, I’ve been seeing Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment a lot lately and may need to give it a try!
Palmer’s was my go-to in college!
Aquaphor is hands down my favorite way to combat chapped liips. Also a big fan of Fresh’s Sugar line- so hydrating!
I feel like I’m always trying out new chapsticks to see if they have the magic touch to cure chapped lips – it’s so hard in the winter! I use vaseline every night… sometimes the cheapest products work the best!
I try so many different kinds, too – it’s crazy!
Mine are the worst right now!! Love this little roundup!
I’m plagued with chapped lips whenever I get a cold, but Burt’s Bees always comes through for me! Great roundup 🙂
Love these! I’m addicted to #6!
Absolutely LOVE #5! It is so amazing!
Sugar + Vaseline = perfect lips
Yes! I have an exfoliator that’s made with sugar and it works wonders!
I usually use plain ol’ chapstick!
Burts bees all the way, its the best!
Ahh! I am addicted to Aquaphor and I am so happy you put this on here because I use it for everything but mainly chapped lips!
It is the best! I use it for just about everything!
I’m an avid chapstick user. I’m excited to try these products!
I used to use #2 all the time. Vaseline is a no brainer, although I don’t use it too often. My favorites for daily use are EOS, Burt’s Bees, and Baby Lips!
I still have not tried the Baby Lips or the EOS lip balm! What on earth is wrong with me?!
The eos ones are so cute and smell yummy!
I love sugar fresh! It makes your lips so soft!
For day, I love Vapour Organic Beauty’s Lux Lip Conditioner. It’s a small tube, but I’ve had mine for a year. It gives a nice bit of shine and isn’t too thick. At night, I usually put SW Basics lip balm in peppermint on. My lips stay chapped year round, otherwise!
I haven’t tried the EOS, but I hear so many good things about it, and the packaging is really cute, too!
LOL that first sentence made me laugh. I’m honestly just an old school chapstick fan but maybe that’s because I have to have like 5 open at one time for use at different locations (at my desk, in my car, in my purse, by my bed) etc.
I’m glad you laughed 😀
My go to is always cherry chapstick – or Chapaid if I’m shopping at Walgreens. I have an addiction to chapstick.
I have lip balms in every single clutch, bag and cloth pocket:) Eos lip balm looks super cute, I already saw it online but never tried it yet
You definitely should- so many different flavors!
That Rosebud Salve is so great! I love how nourishing it is on my lips.
I really been meaning to try baby lips
I’ve never used EOS before, but I’ve heard so many positive reviews that it’s on my list to try!
Vaseline is my go to lip moisturizer! I put it on EVERY night, I can’t sleep unless I put it on. I also have a mini one in my purse (its seriously SO cute!). I really want to try Baby Lips too!
I have a baby one, too!
I’m a big fan of Carmex! I carry it with me every where.
I also use Eos and Burt’s Bees, but rarely.
The Baby Lips brand is my favorite too!! 🙂
I swear by Rosebud Salve and/or Burts Bees…..but your picks are really worth checking out!!!
Great post & suggestions! Great for my winter chapped lips!
