Winter Snapshots

Since I bought my new DSLR, I’ve enjoyed playing around with it and learning all the different features. After the snowstorm last weekend, I ventured outside to my backyard to take some photos of the pretty snow and trees. Even though I’m over the winter weather, I still can’t deny how pretty snow can be- especially in a country area like where I live.

  1. It’s so weird for me to see pictures of snow still! I know it is the dead of winter everywhere but somehow I just feel like it should be spring now already!

  2. The snow is so pretty! Here it’s all melted and gross 🙁

Can I just say how adorable Buddy is?! Your camera perfectly captured how soft and fluffy he looks! I want to reach through the screen and cuddle with him. Okay, I’m done being a creepy cat lady (I’m just going through cat withdrawals haha).

    1. hahah this is an amazing comment. He really is the cutest. He’s 7 or so years old, but I feel like he looks so young! I will tell him what you said 🙂

  3. I need to learn how to actually use my camera!!  Looks like you’re getting the hang of things because these are all great pictures!

  4. Having a DSLR will make you want to take pictures of everything! I remember when I first bought mine, my friends used to tease me because I’d usually bring it with me when we went out. I love your winter snaps, they look beautiful! Snow on tree branches is probably one of my favorite things about winter! Have a great weekend Rachel!

  5. I remember when I lived in Pittsburgh and we got hit with a pretty bad blizzard. We got around 12 inches of snow and since my car was literally buried I had to walk to the grocery store to get food. I took my camera with me and took a bunch of photos…even though the snow sucks sometimes it really is beautiful 🙂 Love the first pic!
