Copycat: Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson makeup

I’m the first to admit that I’m not a huge Scarlett Johansson fan. But with that being said, I think her makeup is spot-on in this photo/ad above, so I couldn’t help but want to recreate it. The porcelin skin with bronzed lids and a bubblegum pink look just work so well with dirty blonde and light brown hair (in a messy, yet effortless curly style that only celebrities can pull off it seems). Here’s how to steal the look yourself.

Face

First, start off with a long-wearing foundation, like Revlon ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex. Choose a shade that matches your skin perfectly- you don’t want to wear one that’s too dark (you’ll add bronzer later for that). Next, use the LORAC TANtalizer® Highlighter & Matte Bronzer Duo to highlight and contour your face. Apply the lighter shade above your cheekbones, on your browbones and down the center of your nose, then apply the darker shade to the hollows of your cheekbones to create a bronzed contoured look. Lastly, add a pinch of peachy color with a blush like Maybelline New York Dream Bouncy Blush in “Peach Satin”.

Eyes

To get Scarlett’s bronzed lids, try a cream-based eyeshadow like Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow in “Bad to the Bronze”. Layer the shadow so it’s darkest at the lash line and slowly blends up past the crease. Top off lashes with a black mascara like Rimmel London Volumeflash Scandaleyes Mascara.

Lips

Get her perfect bubblegum pink pout by applying a shiny lipstick straight from the tube, like the Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in “Pout”.

Hands

Steal a similar gold ring with this BaubleBar Gold Button Ring.

  1. She is hooooooooott! Haha, she’s not my favorite actress in the world, but she is beautiful! And I LOVE her make up here 🙂 That eye make up is amazing!

  2. She always looks gorgeous, although I’m not her biggest fan either! I love her bronze eye shadow though, definitely looking to try something like that in the fall!

  3. Have you tried the tattoo eyeshadow? Does it give a creamy finish?

Also that’s the ONLY mascara I use. Great choice!

    1. I like the shadows a lot. They go on creamy-ish, but they do dry so they aren’t really “wet” if you know what I mean. They stay on for a long time
