Fall Sangria Recipe

fall sangria

What happens when you mix two of every 20-something female’s favorite things together? You get fall sangria, obviously! When I saw this recipe on Pinterest, I knew I had to buy the ingredients and make some for the weekend. During fall, I love making eating fall-themed foods like warm soups, pumpkin-flavored desserts and Halloween candy. But one thing that seems to be missing is the drinks. Sure, there’s the Pumpkin Spice Latte and apple cider, but what about the alcohol? That’s where this recipe for apple cider sangria comes in.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples cut into chunks
  • 1 bottle of white wine (Pinot Grigio if you don’t want it too sweet, otherwise try a Riesling)
  • 1 cup of rum
  • 2 cups of apple cider
  • a few splashes of club soda or ginger ale

Directions

Combine together and serve. Because this made a large batch, I had to use our crockpot to mix it in. Oops.

  2. This sounds incredible! The hubbs and I love making cocktails (including sangria) all summer long, but we always stop when it comes to fall and winter for some reason. This is one that will definitely change that!

  3. Yumm! I pinned a fall sangria recipe on Pinterest recently, but this one looks much easier. Thanks for the recipe!
