Beachy Twist Hair Tutorial
For the past few weeks, I’ve been participating in the Frizz Ease #downfor30 challenge. This challenge asks women to wear their hair down for 30 days straight with the help of your favorite Frizz-Ease products. I have a lot of hair, and it’s naturally wavy, long and sometimes unruly. So to say that this would be a “challenge” is very true, Luckily I’ve found a few miracle products and cute styles that make this challenge easier. I’m sharing a simple beachy waves with a twist tutorial below.
Start off with wet/damp hair. You can begin this tutorial straight out of the shower (just comb your hair) or refresh day-old hair with a few heavy spritzes from a water bottle with a nozzle. Then apply your FRIZZ EASE® Dream Curls® Daily Styling Spray all over your hair. This lightweight spray not only eliminates frizz, but also enhances your hair’s natural wave without any stickiness.
Next, gently “scrunch” chunks of your hair to enhance your hair’s natural wave/curl. For beachy waves, I find this technique to work perfectly. I start off at my ends and work my way up. Try to be gentle as mentioned previously to prevent frizz. Then you get to have fun while you let your hair air dry (which I do 9 out of 10 times), or you can use a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment to lightly dry your hair.

Next, grab a 1-2 inch wide piece of hair from the front. If you have side bangs or shorter layers in the front, use this chunk of hair.
Starting closest to your hair’s part, begin twisting and rolling the chunk you just gathered, gathering some strands from underneath as you go. This will give a cool, laid-back twist to the front piece of your hair (and get those pesky bangs or layers out of your face!) After a few inches of twisting, pin with a bobby pin or two and you’re done!
Frizz-Ease believes that when you pull your hair back, you also pull yourself back. So we’re challenging women everywhere to take on the world hair-first and wear their hair #downfor30 days straight with the help their favorite Frizz-Ease products. Join the movement at NeverPullBack.com.

you look so cute and your hair is glorious. Actually my friend with hair kinda like yours uses frizz ease as well.
I don’t think I could manage to wear my hair down for any more than 2 days in a row. Then again, it’s already summer here in the South.
I don’t blame you, I’m in the Northeast so I don’t know what that’s like!
Such a cute hairstyle! And girl I don’t know that I could do 30 days in a row, so good for you! I have already worn my hair up 3 times this week! Humidity is coming back and making my hair crazy! With that said, I do use a couple frizz ease products to help when I wear my hair down!
I feel like I look better with my hair down so that’s probably why haha
So pretty! My hair is also naturally wavy so I have to try this product out!
Thanks!
so pretty – i love the twist in the front too! i have natural waves and i try to let my hair airdry sometimes instead of blowing it out/using a curling iron, especially when it gets warmer 🙂
Thanks!
I love the wave that product gives your hair! It enhances your natural curl very nicely!
Thank you!
Too cute, babe. This is my go-to look almost all year long, because I have really thick, wavy hair. I need to give Dream Curls a try- the humidity in KC is starting to rise, and my hair just gets BIGGER AND BIGGER as it does, ha. 🙂
You have great natural waves (more like curls, actually) so you are lucky!
what beautiful hair dear
Thank you!
Gorgeous!
Thank you!
I wish my hair had natural wave and curl like yours….it is GORGEOUS!!! And looks so incredibly healthy.
Aw thanks! I try to air dry a lot which I think helps the health of it.
Rachel, you have so beautiful hair <3
Thank you!
You make it look so easy! Lol
haha I try 😉
My hair is just as long as yours but not nearly as easy to handle! I love the way the waves came out in your hair 🙂 You are an inspiration that is CAN be done! 🙂
AW thank you so much!
Love it! This is the look I always want but I never achieve haha so thank you for the explanation!!! I will definately try this asap!

I love this look, so pretty! And your hair is getting SO long!
Thank you!
I always try to get beachy waves, but I’m not super successful {and definitely not as successful as you!} Love the look lady! xx
You have the BEST hair! More tutorials please 🙂 Perhaps how you curl your hair to make waves?
Aw thank you!
I love how this look turned out! Easy but so pretty!
Thanks!
It’s so cute! My hair is wavy in the back and pretty much straight on the sides. Wish it was all the same! I’d love for my hair to be wavy like this.
I love this Rachel! The curling iron is killing my hair, so this is a great alternative to achieve those enviable beach waves! I’m definitely going to try this product!
Yes, for sure! Thanks
This looks so pretty! Thanks for the tutorial 🙂
You are welcome and thanks for the sweet compliment
