One Million

a million pageviews

We all have monumental moments in our lives. For some of us, it’s getting married or graduation law school. For others, it’s simpler things like when we reach our ideal weight or meet our favorite celebrity. It’s sounds cheesy equating a monumental moment to a silly blog on the internet, but today I’m going to for the sake of an exciting post.

Today I was checking my Google Analytics stats, an activity I do every so often. My day job entails daily monitoring of the program for the websites/clients I work on, but I’m usually so busy with my 9-to-5 that I forget to check on this little old blog of mine. To my surprise, I hit the one million mark. Yep, that’s right, 1,000,000 pageviews on my blog since it launched in February of 2012.

I’m not one to brag about everything, but I think this is too awesome not to share. The fact that over 300,000 people have viewed my blog over 1,000,000 times total blows my mind. I’m still waiting for the day someone comes up to me in person and says, “You’re Rachel from Life Unsweetened” (it may never happen, but that would be awesome), but I think this will do instead.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has ever read Life Unsweetened. Whether you accidentally stumbled on it by searching for sunglasses for small faces or you’re a loyal reader who comments on every post, I truly appreciate it. 🙂
