June & July Weekends
The past few weekends have been busy, busy, busy, which means it’s time for a weekend update in photos. The weekends consisted of a graduation party, an engagement, a day at the winery, a glorious Monday off at the beach and a fun 4th of July (errr the 5th) celebration.
James’ youngest sister graduated from high school and her parents threw a great graduation party. It was a beautiful day, they ordered in catered Chipotle (yes, it’s as amazing as it sounds) and there were 2 cute toddlers to entertain everyone.
The next weekend event was the surprise engagement (although it was no surprise to us- we had to hold in the secret for months) of James’ sister Danielle and her boyfriend Jay. He proposed- in a Batman costume- in a nice restaurant and then guided her outside where all of their friends and family were waiting for them with smiles on their faces. It was such a special moment and I could not be happier for the two of them. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much for those few hours.
The day after the engagement, we visited the Warwick Winery where we had a wine tasting, some delicious food and listened to a Beatles cover band. The newly engaged couple joined us, along with James’ cousins and their significant others. I highly recommend making the trip to the winery- the trip may be long and windy, but the scenery is beautiful. Try the Harvest Moon white wine while you’re there- you’ll thank me later.
Beautiful pics and seems like you’ve been having fun weekends and love all your little summer dresses.
