Dr. Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45
I’ve tried a lot of different BB creams in the past few years, but this is one of my favorites. The price tag is pretty high, but the quality is well worth it (if you’re willing to splurge!). The cream goes on smoothly and melts into your skin to match your face’s color. At first I was nervous the shade was too light, but it adjusted as it set in.
Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins™ Mineral-Enriched Renewal Cream
This stuff smells amazing- it’s reminiscent of oranges, but not in an obnoxious way. I applied it all over my face and neck a few times (I had a sample) and woke up with smooth and soft skin. I’m thinking of buying a full-size version so I can see results based on longer use. I think I’ve started an Origins obsession now…
Udderly Smooth Body Cream
The name and packaging of this product are hilarious! I’ve seen these products in magazines before, but never thought to try them out for myself. The consistency is thin but super moisturizing and reminded me of milk. I applied it all over right after the shower and could feel the difference. I’ve read a lot of people saying they use this when shaving (I personally stick to shaving cream), but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t curious to see how well that worked.
Amika Nourishing Hair Mask
The scent of this mask is ah-mazing. I use this once a week and leave it on around 10-15 minutes. This is only the second Amika product I’ve tried- I love their 3-barrel clipless curling iron.
Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo
I have a hard time finding dry shampoos that work well for me- either the scent is too overpowering or it leaves white residue on my hair. I was pleasantly surprised with this one- the scent is natural and refreshing and there is no residue. And you can’t beat the drugstore price!
Fresh Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream
I just started using products for my eyes this past year (I don’t want wrinkles, okay?), and this was the most recent in my rotation. I love the cooling effect it has once you dab it on.
L’Oreal Youth Code Pore Vanisher Texture Perfector
While I’m partial to the Benefit pore primer, I received a sample of this and had to try it out. I was impressed- it hid my pores and didn’t leave any residue. It’s definitely a drugstore alternative for high-end pore primers.
I visited an Origins store for the first time this weekend and picked up a few samples. Everything smelled so good! I can’t wait test them out :
The Origins renewal cream sounds amazing!
I also love & use the Nightamins. So great!
I just tried Udderly Smooth for the first time and was amazed at how well it worked! In a matter of a few days my super dry, cracked, winter skin was back to perfectly soft. I use it daily now. I’ve never heard of using it for shower shave cream though! I may need to try that out!
I am the same way about the Benefit PoreFessional product (LOVE IT), but I will have to try the other one…I am sure it’s less expensive. Ha!! And I swear by the Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Dry Shampoo. The best i have found. Thanks for sharing your fab finds!!
I love that Amika mask too, it smells so good!!
That’s so good.
Thanks for the reccomendations! I’m going to have to try that eye cream!
These are such great recommendations! Also, happy birthday!
Keep hearing good things about that BB cream, will def need to try it when my current supply runs out.
that Fresh rose has been on my wish list!
BB cream with SPF 45? That will be perfect for summer, thanks for the recommendation!
I’m working on my 2nd sample of the Fresh Rose Hydrating eye gel cream and I’m obsessed with it. I will definitely be purchasing the full size!
