Easter Outfits for Every Situation
Last Easter was our first as a family of three, which should be an exciting time. However with Coronavirus restrictions, we cancelled our regular plans and just celebrated with the three of us. (And by celebrate I mean we didn’t even make Easter food and we just got dressed up to take a “baby’s first Easter” photo). This year, while the gathering will still be smaller than usual, at least we are (hopefully) seeing our immediately family — many of who are now vaccinated!
I’m personally torn on what to wear this Easter — do I get all dressed up because that rarely happens these days or do I wear a funny Easter sweatshirt and some leggings? Either way, little Henry will be dressing up because there’s nothing cuter than a 1-year-old in a button-down and bowtie, am I right?
Whether you’re having a formal Easter celebration, a virtual get together, or just hanging out at home, here are some Easter outfit ideas.
Dressy Easter Outfit Idea
If you’re having a more formal sit-down Easter dinner or plan on attending church, you may want to opt for a dressier option. You can’t go wrong with a pastel-hued dress that hits at the knee for this dress code. Pair with nude sandals (fingers crossed the weather is nice enough!), a straw crossbody bag, and some type of cute hair accessory (you can’t go wrong with pearl barrettes).

Simple Easter Outfit Idea
If you want something that’s between dressy and casual, you can’t go wrong with a light blouse and a nice pair of jeans. Pair an on-trend puff-sleeved blouse with high-waisted jeans. Accessorize with dainty gold jewelry (this butterfly necklace is perfect for spring) and a fun spring-colored handbag (I chose mint).

Casual Easter Outfit Idea
If you’re spending your Easter chasing around kids or just hanging out at home, you can go very casual in terms of dress code. What says “casual” better than leggings and a sweatshirt? To pull of this look without looking like you just rolled out of bed, choose quality leggings (like these Zella ones) and a sturdy sweatshirt (like this J Crew option).

I celebrate Greek Orthodox Easter, which is a month later than American Easter this year. I’m hoping by then I’ll be able to celebrate with my family safely since it’s always been a big deal. Those tulip earrings are super cute! Loved all these outfit ideas.
