Cute Winter Maternity Clothes

Cute winter maternity clothes doesn’t have to be an oxymoron! Sure, some options are shapeless and make you feel/look like a marshmallow, but the pieces I’m including below prove otherwise. Since I was due in February with Henry, the majority of my maternity wardrobe consisted of fall/winter items, like long-sleeves shirts, cardigan sweaters, and pants/leggings. I  had good luck finding cute maternity clothes at Target (they carry a bunch of different maternity brands/lines), Pink Blush Maternity, and ASOS (among others). I was so jealous of all the women giving birth in the summer just because the outfits are so much cuter (maxi dresses, for example), but there are plenty of cute cold-weather options, too.

Must-Have Cute Winter Maternity Clothing Items

  • A cute dress. Chances are you’ll have one or two fancier occasions to attend while you’re pregnant, whether that’s a baby/bridal shower, a christening, or a party. It’s always good to have a nice maternity dress that’s long-sleeved and appropriate for colder weather. My favorites are this smocked dress (smocking and ruching are my favorite details in clothing when I have a bump), and this flocked dot dress.
  • Versatile blouses. I love a good blouse — you can dress it up for work or dress it down for the weekend. It’s so hard to wear non-maternity blouses once you hit the 15-20 week mark, so buying some maternity options is key to a versatile wardrobe. My picks include this leopard blouse and floral blouse.
  • One fun statement piece. Whether it’s this velvet suit blazer or this button-front jumpsuit, I think it’s nice to invest/splurge in one “statement” piece. I’m guilty to defaulting to oversized sweats or leggings and a tee when pregnant around the house, so it’s really nice to put on a fun maternity piece that fits nice and looks good.
